Wonder Patriot has Oculus cornered in his office. He fires at her
seemingly in an effort to save his own skin, but the mighty heroine
deflects every shot. Oculus consumes a capsule as though he'd
rather end it all than go to jail, but he knows Wonder Patriot won't let
him get off the hook that easy. As she goes to revive him, Oculus
exhales a powerful knockout gas that weakens the
superheroine yet doesn't quite take her down. It's enough to distract
her so he can grab her with a rag.
